A 10-Month Classroom Kindness & Character-Building Program

Sunny's Keys to Kindness™

Six Superpowers. Ten Months. A Kinder Classroom.

Help children ages 4–8 build kindness, confidence, friendship, courage, bravery, and boldness—one small action at a time!

Sunny's Keys to Kindness is a fun, hands-on, reusable classroom program designed to help teachers introduce important life skills through colorful wooden teaching keys, engaging monthly activities, and simple opportunities for children to shine.

Small Missions. Big Feelings. Brighter Days.

Unlock a Kinder Classroom—One Key at a Time!

Imagine starting each month by introducing your students to a new superpower. One month, children practice making friends. Another month, they discover how to believe in themselves. Later, they learn to stand up for others, try something new, or use their voices for good.

With Sunny leading the way, character-building becomes something children can see, practice, celebrate, and remember.

And the best part? You don't have to create a new program every month. Sunny's Keys to Kindness gives you a simple structure to follow throughout the school year.

What's Inside Your Sunny's Keys to Kindness Box?

The Keys to Kindness kit: teacher binder, student pages, six wooden teaching keys, wall plaque and stickers

Six Colorful Wooden Teaching Keys

Each beautifully illustrated key introduces a different superpower:

  • Kind Key: Choose kindness and help others.
  • Confidence Key: Believe in yourself and keep learning.
  • Friendship Key: Include others and build friendships.
  • Courage Key: Stand up for what's right.
  • Brave Key: Try new things, even when you're scared.
  • Bold Key: Use your voice and share your ideas.

The keys belong to the teacher and can be displayed, introduced, and reused year after year.

10-Month Teacher Binder

A structured 10-month program with monthly themes, teaching guidance, suggested activities, and simple ways to recognize students' progress.

Reproducible Student Activity Pages

The binder includes masters that teachers can photocopy for their students, including personal 20-star trackers, certificates, and supporting classroom resources.

How It Works

  1. 1

    Introduce the Key

Start the month by showing students the featured wooden key and talking about its superpower.

  2. 2

    Practice the Superpower

Encourage children to demonstrate the monthly character trait through everyday classroom interactions, conversations, and activities.

  3. 3

    Color a Star

Each student receives a personal tracker with 20 stars. When a child demonstrates the featured superpower, the teacher can recognize that effort and invite the child to color a star.

  4. 4

    Celebrate Their Shine

At the end of the month, celebrate children's growth with encouragement, recognition, or a certificate.

No complicated scoring. No pressure to be perfect. Just meaningful opportunities to practice positive behaviors.
